Exercise is proven to help alleviate the symptoms of Parkinson’s disease. It is one of the most important keys to living well and improving strength, balance, stability, and peace of mind.

This 8-week Aqua-based Parkinson’s class allows you to enjoy moving again in a safe and supportive environment. We will jog, dance, box, play tennis, and golf while enjoying the freedom and flexibility that moving in water affords.

You don’t need to know how to swim as we perform these activities in our 90-degree indoor therapeutic pool in shallow water. These activities will increase strength and endurance, improve stiffness, and promote good posture to recover the loss of mobility and coordination associated with the disease.

No matter what you like to do, it is essential to exercise to keep moving—so KEEP MOVING with us in this NEW class.

Instructor: Jocelyn Freid
Jocelyn has over 25 years of experience helping people regain and maintain normal body movement, coordination, function, and balance as they age with classes through hydrotherapy and aquatic fitness classes. She is an avid cyclist and backpacker, was a competitive swimmer, and studied dance, martial arts, Feldenkrais, and Pilates.
