Take a “once in a lifetime” trip to explore the arts & architecture, cuisine & crafts, history, religions & traditions in magnificent India!
The National JCC Adult & Senior Alliance invites all to join our In-Person Cultural Arts Trip:
Extraordinary India: The Golden Triangle & Beyond
February 2-16 (or 23), 2025
Begin in India’s “Golden Triangle” which is comprised of the three most visited cities in the country’s northwest – Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. On the map, these form a triangle that has been dubbed “golden” for the extraordinary wealth of cultural & historical splendor offered in each of the cities. Home to some of Asia’s best artisans, workshops & bazaars, the Golden Triangle is a classic introduction to this amazing country. Most agree, if you’ve never been to India, start here!
This trip is SOLD OUT to a private group.
However, why go all the way to the other side of the earth and not see other marvelous sites. Journey beyond the Golden Triangle to discover Udaipur, called “The White City” and “The City of Lakes.”
Continue on to Narlai to experience a safari to see leopards, antelope, hyenas, jackals and more. Next, head to Jodhpur, known as “The Sun City” for the bright, sunny weather it enjoys all year and the “The Blue City” due to the vivid blue-painted houses near its fort.
End in Mumbai, the largest, wealthiest, and most modern city in India – a cosmopolitan and trendy mega-city representing the ever-changing face of today’s India, yet at its very core, the heart of the city is steeped in Indian customs and values.
In addition, visit a few villages, which offer an interesting counterpoint to the bustling cities.
