Join us for a delightful & delicious daytrip to explore the charming Sonoma wine country town of Healdsburg.
Bay Area Excursion: Happenin’ Healdsburg
Wednesday, March 20
9:30am-5:30pm
Let our private coach whisk you away to the heart of Sonoma County to join James Sokol and Sara Allen for an off-season (re: not so crowded) visit to the charming town of Healdsburg.
For an overview of Healdsburg’s rich history and insights into some of the people that have made it a destination for travelers since its founding day, begin with a private guided walking tour. Get a local’s recommendations for shopping & dining.
Next, have lunch on your own or join others for a wonderful no-host (re: Dutch treat) lunch at one of our favorite restaurants (see “No-Host Lunch” below) in this foodie town.
The afternoon brings free time to enjoy the town as you like; there are several options. History lovers may want to visit the Healdsburg museum. Art lovers can go gallery hopping. Wine lovers will certainly want to book an experience at a local wine tasting room. Shoppers will enjoy the array of boutiques offering everything from clothing to cookware, books to bicycles, home decor to hats, and more. People-watchers can relax on a bench in the tree-filled plaza or at a local café.
Re-board our coach for the return trip with nice memories of a lovely day.
Space is strictly limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

No-Host Lunch:
Our group’s no-host (re: Dutch treat) lunch will take place at Bravas, which “serves up traditional Spanish and modern tapas-style dining in Wine Country by James Beard finalists Mark and Terri Stark. Large plates to share, including paella. Bravas offers a selection of local and Spanish wines, sangrias, and Spain-inspired cocktails, including a variety of signature gin and tonics.”

If you prefer to lunch elsewhere on your own, Healdsburg is home to several wonderful restaurants!
