Captivating Cuba: Art, Music, Dance & More!
November 8-(16), 2025
In 1492, Christopher Columbus found and claimed the island now known as Cuba. It remained a Spanish territory until the Spanish–American War ended in 1898, and gained formal independence from the U.S. in 1902. The Cuban Revolution of 1953-1959 brought Fidel Castro to power. In the time since, it has been difficult for Americans to visit this island country that has grown to over 11 million people. A Caribbean gem, Cuba is a cultural oasis of warm, generous people.
Be inspired by Cuba’s soulful art, musical rhythms and vibrant dance – a land of artistic richness! However, Cuba is changing quickly. The time to go is now!
Experience the rich cultural life of this interesting island nation with visits to artists’ studios and workshops, dance schools (to see a rehearsal), important museums, historic sites and more.
Visit a private home and hear personal stories of growing up in Cuba. Avoid the government tourist restaurants and dine in the famous paladares — the “in home” restaurants run by family members.
Visit this striking country before it turns into just another tourist-filled cruise port.
Explore. Experience. Enjoy. Join us!
Trip Highlights include:

Learn from fascinating private lectures with subject-matter experts.
