Magical Morocco

October 18-(November 4), 2025

From seaside to mountain-top to desert, from historical sites to modern wonders, from natural to man-made beauty, with a rich history of Berbers, Arabs, Christians & Jews. Morocco has it all!

Travel to this marvelous, magical North African country, so different from most Arab-dominant countries, Morocco has its own unique, fascinating culture – a blend of indigenous Berber, Arabian, Sub-Saharan African, and European influences. In fact, ethnically speaking, though Morocco is composed mainly of Berbers and Arabs, or a mix of the two, some segments of the population are descendants of refugees from Spain and Portugal who fled during the Inquisition to be welcomed by the Moroccans.

Explore bustling imperial cities (Fes, Meknes & Marrakech). Experience ocean-side towns (Tangier, Essaouira). Stay in a charming hillside retreat (Chefchaouen) and in the mountain region (Dades). Camp (if you like) in among the dunes at the edge of the Sahara Desert (Merzouga). Enjoy “off the tourist track” locals (Taroudant). Even stop in a nomadic home for a cup of tea.

Visit several UNESCO World Heritage sites including the Archaeological site of Volubilis, the historic city of Meknes, the Ksar of Ait-Ben-Haddou, the old Medinas of Essaouira, Fes and Marrakesh.

Marvel at the natural beauty of the Atlas mountains, the majesty of the Todgha Gorge, the serenity of the graceful sand dunes at the edge of the desert.Discover the traditions of hand-made beauty – stunning handicrafts still being made with pride! Meet craftsman engaged in ceramics, mosaics, metalworking, fabric weaving, rug making, wood working and more!Learn about indigenous products such as rose oil, supplied to the French perfume industry; Argan oil – the wonder of the beauty & cosmetic industries; Saffron – the world’s most expensive spice, and more!

With a rich itinerary of traditional and “off the beaten path” sites and experiences, this exciting journey is not to be missed.
